Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" W. Carlson, 83, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 16, 2024, at his home.
Ronnie was born May 29, 1941, in Galesburg, the son of Walter M. and Mildred L. (Lawrence) Carlson. He married Juanita Waight-Johnson on August 1, 1981, in Galesburg.
His wife of 42 years, Juanita, survives. Also, surviving are her children, Bobby Johnson, Jr., Debi (Jim Bauchman) Johnson, CJ (Gussie Padilla) Johnson all of Galesburg and Terri (Richard) Conard of Alexis, Illinois; and eight grandchildren, Tifani (Jason) Miller, Kristopher (Heather Bundy) Conard, Melody (Kent Young) Runyon, Heidi Clark, Jessica (Donnie) Reed, Sean Johnson and Kylee Johnson, twelve great grandchildren, DJ, Dante, Harley, Reed, Lillian, Dylan, Jaden, Morganne, Keino, Kahlia, Hazel and Amelia and his beloved fur baby, Jessie. He is preceded in death by his parents, his stepdaughter, Penny Sue Johnson, two brothers, Aaron and Jerry Carlson, and two grandchildren, Tamara Runyon and Kenneth
