Mr. Edward Lee "Eddie" Peak, Jr., 63, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Abingdon, Illinois died 1:28 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Oldorf Hospice House, Cedar Rapids.
He was born March 29, 1961, in Danville, Illinois to Edward L. and Wanda (Pruitt) Peak, Sr.
Surviving are two sisters, Linda (and Dannie) Chapin of Cameron, Illinois and Cheryl Miller of Cedar Rapids a special friend and the love of his life, Joan Bennett of Monmouth, Illinois and a nephew, David Peak, Jr. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward L. Peak, Sr., his mother, Wanda Vogler, his stepfather, Richard Vogler, three brothers, Chris Peak, David Peak, Sr. and Michael Peak, and a niece, Brittany Peak.
Eddie worked for IPEA for approximately 12 years and was later disabled from his Parkinson's Disease. He fought a warrior's fight with Parkinson's Disease.
