Jacob Anthony Ralston, 40, of Valdosta, Georgia, died Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in Valdosta.
Jake was born June 8, 1984, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, the son of Judy Annette (Webber) and Robert E. Ralston, Jr. He graduated from Galesburg High School class of 2002, after the events of 9/11 he went on to enlisted in the United States Air Force. Serving over 16 years of active duty, Jake completed 8 overseas/combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Earning numerous awards and campaign medals. After leaving the Air Force Jake went on to work as a maintenance contractor, last working for Chasers Home Services.
Jake is survived by his mother, Judy (Aaron) Pensinger of Farmington, Illinois; his father, Robert (Cirila) Ralston Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; two children, Kolton and Layce; his grandmother, Linda Ralston of Galesburg; and his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Joyce Webber of Galesburg. He is also survived by one brother, Brandon (Sarai) Ralston of Hobart, Indiana; two sisters, Erika Ral
