Milton Lamond Jones, Jr., 57, passed away at 3:20 pm Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his home.
Milton was born March 13, 1967, in Galesburg, the son of Milton L. Jones, Sr. and Sheryn McCutcheon and his stepmother, Ann Jones. He attended Galesburg schools as a child but quickly entered the working field holding several jobs. Milton was extremely diverse, working for Hy Vee Grocery Store as a night stocker, he ran a forklift at Hanson Lumber Company. He worked in the dietary department for Heartland Healthcare Center and was a laborer for Mid-State Manufacturing Company. Milton's most memorable and enjoyable job was working alongside Mr. James Harris collecting and hauling items for businesses and individuals. Milton had lived briefly in the Peoria area but always called Galesburg his home. He had a love for basketball both playing church league at the Carver Center and watching his Chicago Bulls. Milton was of the Baptist faith.
