Charles Richard Williams, Jr.,70, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria surrounded by his family.
Charles (Chuckie) R. Williams, Jr. was born on December 20, 1954, in Galesburg to Charles and Antoinette (Hollowell) Williams. He was a graduate of Galesburg High School. He worked with Gunther Construction, Maytag, Gales Products Co, Caterpillar, and traveled all over the country as a merchandiser for MMI.
Chuckie Williams married Melissa (Mitzi) Thompson Enloe and together they had four children. He was preceded in death by three sons, Charles R. (Tooter) Williams Thompson, Todd Thompson and Heath Williams.
Chuckie leaves to celebrate his life, his parents, his life partner/best friend and soulmate of 30 years, Sandra (Sandy) Townsend, and his one and only baby girl, Tia (Weezy) Williams; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; along with two stepchildren, Micky and Jessica.
